Many Organizations Advance Their Mission As They Meet at Lied Lodge
Lied Lodge & Conference Center welcomes all professionals and the public, children and adults, this generation and those to come by giving them the knowledge and inspiration needed to create, advocate, and implement successful programs of tree planting and care on the job, in their communities, on their farms and woodlands, in our forests, and in their own backyards.
With heavy timber trusses and stone fascia characteristic of the Adirondack style, Lied Lodge is a world-class conference center in a rustic, comfortable setting -- an ideal meeting atmosphere for discussions about the natural world.
U.S. Forest Service Leadership Team
met when Arbor Day Farm was in deep snow. The comfortable, inspiring Lied Lodge, timber beam atmosphere, warming fireplaces, and friendly staff all contributed to their meetings.
Working Forums on Nature Education
hosted at Lied Lodge by the World Forum Foundation bring people from more than 25 nations to multiple events to address the need for the world's children to connect with nature. Interactive activities at the Nature Explore Classrooms and the Tree Adventure are important contributors to the events success.
The Nature Conservancy
has long made Lied Lodge a place for leadership to convene and train. Here in the heartland of America, they find Arbor Day Farm an ideal setting for bringing management together with scientists and conservationists from around the globe to renew their spirit.
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service
finds that the conservation demonstrations throughout Arbor Day Farm make this an ideal destination for USDA groups throughout the country. Stream bioengineering, snow fences and windbreaks, agroforestry, and year-round greenhouse operations provide hands-on training opportunities.
Nature Explore Workshops
hosted by Dimensions Educational Research Foundation for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Keep America Beautiful, schools, and many other education and conservation groups use two Nature Explore Classrooms at Arbor Day Farm as research-based models of nature-rich spaces to connect children with nature. “It was particularly refreshing to spend time at Lied Lodge & Conference Center. The atmosphere presented a feeling of being at a retreat, and I was constantly reminded of my passion.”

A place where people gather can be a great factor in their success. A meeting site should help stretch the minds of those who meet there. It should educate and inspire.
Lied Lodge is such a place.
